On May 6th, some of our judges had the awesome opportunity to return and judge this year’s InterRes Debating Championship, always one of the most exciting events on the uni calendar.
A huge congratulations to Waipārūrū Hall for winning the 2025 InterRes Debate Cup Championship! After weeks of preparation and 4 intense rounds of debate, the WPH Wasps emerged victorious in a thrilling final, showcasing sharp reasoning, strong teamwork, and undeniable presence. 🗣️👏
We’re incredibly proud of all the halls that participated this year. Each debate brought energy, passion, and a great sense of inter-residential spirit. The grand final was no exception, drawing a fantastic crowd and creating an unforgettable atmosphere of support and celebration.
A massive thank you to everyone who turned up, cheered on their teams, and helped make the night such a success. Your energy brought the vibes, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🐝🔥
