University of Auckland Debating Society

On Tuesday the 23rd of July we co-hosted a staff vs students debate alongside SCISA. The topic of discussion was that assuming the technology existed, this house would ban time travel. With guest speakers Priya Subramanian, Richard Easther and Nicolette Rattenbury, the debate ended up with the audience declaring team staff the winners.

Thanks to: SCISA for co-hosting and planning the food & drinks; Priya, Richard and Nicolette for putting their careers on the line to make a fool out of themselves in front of an audience; Travis, Ross & Sumner for speaking; and Rob for hosting. Hopefully we can host another event like this next year!
