University of Auckland Debating Society

On Tuesday the 21st of May we co-hosted a staff vs students debate alongside AULSS. The topic of discussion was that those that cannot do, teach. With guest speakers Jesse Wall and Marcelo Rodriguez Ferrere, the debate ended up quite divisive with the audience. Overall, the audience seemed to enjoy the event, with constant laughter throughout. The after event at shadows wrapped up a great night.

Thanks to: AULSS for co-hosting and planning the social event; Jesse and Marcelo for putting their careers on the line to make a fool out of themselves in front of an audience; Melissa, Phoebe, James & Judy for speaking; and the audience for showing up, hopefully we can host another event like this next year!
