University of Auckland Debating Society

On the 16th of April, our members spoke in a debate against the New Zealand Association of Rationalists and Humanists on the motion “That AI is an existential threat to humanity”. The debate was very exciting, and in the end the audience still narrowly believed that AI was a threat to humanity.
