Joynt Scroll is New Zealand’s annual ‘3 v 3’ style major. Teams are of three, speeches are eight minutes, and leader’s replies are four minutes.

The Club will be subsidising the cost of attending the tournament for our teams, judges, and trainees.

Joynt Scroll this year is in Dunedin (Ōtepoti) and is being hosted by the University of Otago. The tournament will be held from the 29th of March till the 1st of April (Easter Weekend). Joynt Scroll is the perfect opportunity to improve your debating skills and compete at a fun competition with your friends.

Joynt Scroll trials are set for the 2nd of March. Trialing involves speaking in a couple of trial debates and then being placed into a team of a similar skill level to you. Trails will be held at the University of Auckland City Campus.
